Dish 43: Japanese cuisine – cherry tomato

Another easy cooking way of cherry tomatoes is here! It’s a vegetarian’s friendly dish and good for all kinds of your meals as appetizer. The taste is not that kind of extremely yummy, but it’s refreshing.



  • 12 oz pints of cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp sea salt
  • 3 tbsp Kyoko’s all-purpose dashi soy sauce concentrate
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 8 shiso leaves, cut into shreds
  • 8 basil leaves, cut into shreds
  • Freshly ground pepper

Taste (bad1-excellent 5): 3.5

Time: 25mins

Skill (easy 1- hard 5): 2.5

Healthy (unhealthy 1-healthy 5): 4

Spicy (no-spicy 1 -very spicy 5): 0
